Welcome to the Ivy Cycling Club website. This is our online home and a source for the latest information on the Ivy CC and its activities. The club meets in the community centre in Torrance every Thursday evening at 7.45 pm - 9.30pm throughout the year (7.15 pm May-August). Check the calendar or forum for any club events or rides being organised

1/11/16 Subject:- AGM& Falkirk Wheel

The AGM will be held on Thursday 3rd November at the club rooms in torrance at 7.30pm.

Tickets still available for the Presentation Dinner Dance will be held at Milngavie Bowling Club 60 Station Rd Milngavie on Fri. 4th Nov. 7pm for 7.30pm . Contact Kenny Clark, £15.00 per head. Remember to bring a gift for the raffle !

The run out to the Falkirk wheel on the canal path is on Sunday 13th November. Meeting at 10:00am - at the canal bridge between Torrance and the Torrance roundabout. Itís a 32 mile round trip from Torrance. Stopping for lunch at the Wheel visitor centre or an extra 4 miles out and 4 back on the canal path towards Falkirk and you can have a look at the Kelpies. Bring lights ( mudguards too )

22/9/16 Subject:- Tour de Trossachs Cancelled

It is with great regret that we have had to cancel this years edition of the Tour de Trossachs due to roadworks on the Dukes pass. All riders who had entered have been informed - thanks for your support on this, Janette. We will be back - bigger and better in 2017 !

17/6/16 Subject:- Confined "25"
It's the 25 on Thursday (23rd). We are using the A77 course.
Meet at the

at 7pm and pedal out 6 miles to the start. This will be the roundabout just after the junction of the A77 with the Eaglesham B764 road.

Start at the roundabout and head back to the Malletsheugh carry on to the roundabout just after the Malletsheugh and turn. (6.3 miles)
Click here for the 2nd leg

Head back out the A77 pass through 3 roundabouts and turn at the 4th at the B751 Kilmaurs road. (9.8 miles)

Back up the A77 passing the East Renfrewshire golf club. Finishing about 1/3 mile past the golf club at the Motorway signpost . (8.9 miles)
